Blossom
Blossom is a medium-sized dilute tortoiseshell with a fluffy coat of gray with flecks of pale peach and beige. Her coat is so fluffy that she appears much larger than she actually is.
She is about four years old and has been in foster care with one of our volunteers for quite some time. It’s now become clear that it’s time for her to go to her forever home.
Blossom is affectionate and friendly. She likes to sleep in bed with her foster mom, or sit on the couch with her and watch TV. She’s curious, smart and a great companion.
At her current home she has access to a small, secure screened in patio which she accesses via the dog door. She loves to sit on a tabletop and watch all the backyard action (mainly wild birds, butterflies and cars passing on the adjacent street). She amuses herself when her foster mom is gone by spending most of her time safely confined to the patio.
Blossom is a real sweetheart with just one small flaw--she has decided that she does NOT want to share her foster mom with any of the other fosters in the household. We are hoping that she can find a home with a cat-lover who is currently catless (and dogless). She would like nothing better than being the spoiled princess who doesn’t have to share her space with other pets.
Blossom is used to living with a “mom,” but she’s fine with men too. She would probably not be happy in a household with small children.
