More About Adoptions and Fees
All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, completely checked over by a veterinarian, and are up-to-date on all necessary shots. Most of them have a microchip. When you adopt a cat from us, you can be assured that it is not suffering from feline leukemia or feline AIDS. Our reduced adoption fees are lower than what you would have to pay for all these services if you adopt a cat or kitten from a private party.
We are a small non-profit organization and are only able to offer cats at these reduced rates thanks to the generosity of private donors. All that we ask in return is that you provide our cats with a safe, comfortable, loving indoor home and that you see that they are provided with the necessary veterinary care in the future.
Some of our cats are part of a bonded pair and may only be adopted together. If you wish to adopt two cats that are not part of a bonded pair, the two must be compatible and already be used to being housed together. This is to ensure a peaceful transition once they become a part of your household. Our volunteers will advise you as to the compatibility of any two cats you may wish to adopt.
