Clara
Currently available at Petsmart, 7600 N. 10th in McAllen, is a beautiful "senior" kitty named Clara.
She's a great big girl, a Russian Blue cross. She tips the scales at a substantial 16 pounds and she's 7 years old.
For several years, Clara was kept in near-isolation with one other cat, in an upstairs room where they received only the most basic care and very little attention.
Once they were taken into the AdvoCat facility, they soon warmed up to humans and the affection humans can provide.
Clara's former roommate is larger and more assertive, and therefore overshadowed her. Now that they have been separated, Clara has come into her own, craving human attention and love. She's a very sweet girl, who would make an awesome companion, especially for someone who lives alone and can devote lots of time to pampering this lovely girl.
Clara likes low-calorie food with hairball control, but, other than that, she has no special veterinary requirements. She has been thoroughly checked out and is great physical condition, with lots of life and love left in her.
