Pretty Patches is a special princess who started out as a struggling Cinderella surviving along the road for nearly 2 years while volunteers tried to befriend her. Eventually she was captured and brought to our shelter where she learned to trust dedicated volunteers who spent hours with her each day. From day one, she never showed any signs of aggression, only fear and the stoic attitude of a survivor. Eventually, she made friends with one volunteer who took her home to foster. There she made friends with the other pets in the home and learned to be a house dog. Now she is a well mannered girl who is easy to bathe, walks well on a leash, is crate trained and house trained, sits on command to beg politely for treats, rides well in the car and fits perfectly into the life of a happy home. At only 18 pounds, she is a little lady who could be the princess in your castle.
