PHOENIX
Phoenix was born in September of 2012 and weighs about 45 pounds. He is a playful, loving boy who wants to be with you as much as possible. He loves his baths and will run and jump in the washtub begging for a bath whenever given the opportunity. He walks very well on a leash and rides well in the car. He gets along with many other dogs and enjoys running and playing with them. He can get bossy with dogs when he is too excited. And he will not tolerate being mistreated. Been there, done that, don't want to do it anymore!
Phoenix is a real prince who came as a pauper. He was in terrible condition upon arrival, nearly starved with severe mange and infected skin. He had been beaten down. But with loving attention (of course, there was medicine in there, too!) he blossomed into the beautiful boy. He suffered so much. He could have been your Prince Charming. However, he has grown old at our shelter, never having the opportunity to enjoy living in a home with the love and attention he needed. He deserved to have a "happy ever after" finish to his story. But sometimes, what should have happened doesn't actually happen. As a result, Phoenix will continue to be cared for at Cinderella Pet Rescue where he will have his basic needs met in a safe environment. But he may never know the love of an actual owner before he must cross the rainbow bridge.
